One of our goals in bringing CLAi from the UK to the USA was
to build a company that would be

client-friendly

Two ways in which we do that are in the way we interact with our clients, and
the way we expand post - dragging it out of the traditional

edit studio

.

As far as interacting with our clients go...

we make life as easy for you as possible - and recognize that your time has value. So we always make a point to come to you for meetings and sign-offs, at your place of business or on set. Just as efficiently, we do as much as possible using the Internet, file uploads, private

YouTube and Vimeo

accounts, and even

Skype

and

GoToMyPC

access to our systems so that you can easily interact with our editors on your schedule.

We are also set up to allow us to take several of our systems out

onto location

, or to your premises if this makes sense for the project - which include

DIT

systems for handling footage, full blown

edit systems

, smaller location "content edit" systems, and a complete

colorist

system, all with the right personnel to make them fly.

The colorist and edit systems can change the entire way you shoot -

allowing us to take footage as you shoot, color correct it for Director and DP approval then and there, and

start the editing process while the shoot progresses

. This changes the whole definition of "dailies" - creating finished "hourlies", and complete palettes of selects and sequences to help you make creative, budget and schedule critical decisions in the most timely manner possible.
